Individuals and legal entities can apply for funds over the next couple of weeks, within the projects for self-employment through crediting, self-employment through crediting for unemployed young people up to 29 years of age, crediting of micro and small enterprises over the opening of new job positions, as well as crediting of micro and small enterprises over job openings for young people up to the age of 29.

Minister of Labor and Social Policy Dime Spasov said at Thursday's press conference the goal of these measures is to create opportunities for all unemployed individuals, but also stimulate all those who have their own business, idea or concept for development of a company.

"I would like to motivate all those who are mulling their own business, especially the youth, to use this chance and take a loan for self-employment and opening of new jobs, thus stimulating the development of entrepreneurship", said Spasov.

The self-employment measures include loans in the amount of EUR 7,000 as well as additional EUR 4,000 for each new job position, but not more than four. The repayment period is seven years with a 1,5-year grade period and one-percent annual interest rate.

"Furthermore, all private companies planning to open new jobs for young people should seize this opportunity and apply for a loan, getting EUR 4,000 for a single employment, but not more than three. The repayment period is two years, including a one-year grace period, and one percent annual interest rate", added Minister Spasov.

Employment Service Agency director Vlatko Popovski said the ad has been announced and will be open in the next two weeks.
