Macedonia's investment opportunities presented in Switzerland
A government delegation, led by Deputy PM Vladimir Pesevski, as of Tuesday is paying a visit to Switzerland to present the favourable conditions for investing and running a business in Macedonia.
The delegation today held direct meetings with managers of companies from the food industry and companies manufacturing equipment and heating, air-conditioning and ventilation systems and those producing machine parts and tools.
The owners of the companies Ospelt and Hilti have announced their plans to visit Macedonia in early 2015, Deputy PM Pesevski’s office said in a press release.
An event, which is expected to bring together representatives of the business community in Liechtenstein, is set to be organized Tuesday evening in Zurich by the Macedonian honorary consul to the Principality of Liechtenstein, Norbert Zeger, Liechtenstein’s Chamber of Commerce, Macedonia’s embassy to Switzerland and the Bern office of the Agency of Foreign Investments and Export Promotion.
Apart from Pesevski, the government delegation also includes the minister without portfolio responsible for attracting foreign investments, Visar Fida, Macedonia’s honorary consul Norbert Zeger and the economic promoter based in Switzerland, Arlind Zekiri.
