MoI Jankuloska visits overhauled police station 'Popova Sapka'
Minister of Interior (MOI) Gordana Jankuloska visited Friday the police station 'Popova Sapka', reconstructed for the last six months within the 'Integrated Border Management' project.
The overall objective of this EU external aid project is to further strengthen integrated border management capacities in accordance with European/Schengen standards.
The purpose of the project, financed by the Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance (IPA), is to improve the existing radio communication system and the existing country’s border police stations (sections of the border with Serbia, Kosovo and Albania).
Last year IPA and the Macedonian Government granted EUR 750,000 and 1,25 million respectively for the reconstruction of 10 police stations.
