Facade of Skopje-based orphanage "11 October" will be reconstructed with funds collected at concert "Musical Earthquake", held in sports center "Boris Trajkovski" on 30 December 2011.

Sports center director Ratko Kapusevski said at Wednesday's press conference that Macedonian citizens have donated Denar 363,500 (EUR 6,000) through more than 7,000 telephone calls.

"A tender will be announced by the orphanage, whereas the contractor should complete the project by June", said Kapusevski.

Minister of Labor and Social Policy Spiro Ristovski said this was a humane gesture for the orphanage, which represents a home for many children.

"We have shown our humanity again, in this specific case for children who are orphans not by their choice", said Minister Ristovski.

Kapusevski said a similar event would be held this year, with collected funds allocated to monastery "St.Jovan Bigorski".
