Office of the President of the Government of the Republic of North Macedonia
The Office of the President of the Government of the Republic of North Macedonia was established on 2nd February 2002. Its purpose is to assist the President of the Government in the performance of their rights and duties arising from the Constitution, Law and Rules of Procedure of the Government.
The Office performs the following duties:
- Coordinates the cooperation of the President of the Government with national bodies, public enterprises, institutions, trade companies, associations of citizens and other legal entities;
- Monitors the process of organization, preparation and implementation of the Program of the Government;
- Ensures that the conclusions of the Government are fulfilled by the competent ministries and state administration bodies;
- Maintains the relations between the Government, Assembly, judiciary and President of the State;
- Assists the President of the Government in cooperation with presidents and representatives of the Government of other countries and representatives of international bodies and organizations and their bodies;
The President of the Government, in their discretion and assessment, may engage external associates, such as: professors, scientists, renowned entrepreneurs and professionals. The President may engage state officials from the General Secretariat of the Government, ministries and other individual bodies.
The Office is managed by a Chief of Office appointed and dismissed by the President of the Government of the Republic of North Macedonia.
