Health Minister Todorov visits Serbia
Minister of Health Nikola Todorov met Monday with his Serbian counterpart Zoran Stankovic as he is paying a two-day visit to Serbia.
Interlocutors at the meeting discussed ways to improve bilateral cooperation in the field of healthcare, emphasizing the opportunity for training medical staff from lacking professions, the Ministry of Health said.
On his part, the Serbian minister voiced open support for conducting these trainings.
Minister Todorov also met with the Chief of the Military Medical Academy, Slobodan Slavkovic and the Director of the Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases, Bosko Gjukanovic.
A delegation of the Ministry is expected to hold several working meetings throughout the day.
The Serbia visit is part of the Ministry's continuous efforts to expand opportunities for sending staff to be trained in prestigious medical institutions in Serbia and the region.
