Foreign Minister Nikola Poposki and Peter Maurer, State Secretary of the Federal Department for Foreign Affairs of Switzerland, shared opinions Friday on the bilateral relations and developments in the region.

The officials underlined the significance of high-level meetings, advancing of the legal framework by signing of new agreements, further development of the economic ties and cooperation within international organizations, in particular the Council of Europe.

Poposki and Maurer hailed the positive trend of the bilateral relations, based on friendship, understanding and mutual commitment to their constant advancing. They also expressed interest in further bolstering of the economic cooperation, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a press release.
