Vlado Misajlovski assumed his position as Minister of Defence on 24 June 2024.

Before assuming this position, Vlado Misajlovski was elected as a Member of Parliament in the last parliamentary elections held in May 2024. He held the position of Member of Parliament in the previous parliamentary composition of the Assembly 2020 – 2024.

Between 2018 and 2020 he was the commercial director at Kendo 3 LLC, Skopje.
From 2015 to 2017 he held the position of Minister of Transport and Communications, where previously he was the State Secretary between 2012 and 2014.
Between 2014 and 2015, he was the Director of the Public Enterprise for State Roads.
He was appointed as a State Secretary in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the period 2012 to 2014
Previously, from 2010 to 2011, he worked as the Head of the Department for Support of the Mayor of the Municipality of Centar, and between 2009 and 2010, he was as an Advisor for foreign policy and international relations in the Office of the President of the Assembly.

Vlado Misajlovski holds a Master’s degree in political science, i.e. European International Politics and Diplomacy from the Faculty of Social Sciences, Skopje. He previously graduated from the Faculty of Social Sciences, Skopje and obtained the title of graduate political scientist for international politics and diplomacy.

He is fluent in English.
