Minister of Justice Blerim Bexheti met Wednesday with the Head of the EU Delegation to Skopje, Aivo Orav for talks on recent reform activities conducted by the ministry and steps made in the high-level accession dialogue.

Bexheti praised the activities taking place in connection to the pre-accession dialogue. He underlined the need of enhancing efforts made to enable equal representation in the election of judges and public prosecutors, the ministry said in a press release.

The minister voiced content with the current assistance and cooperation with the EU Delegation on projects that are vital in reforming the country's judicial system.

Ambassador Orav said he hoped the cooperation would be strengthened.
