Macedonian companies to improve operations through excellence practices

Skopje hosts Thursday the first Business Excellence Show in Macedonia, with about 30 experts transferring international excellence practices to Macedonian companies.

Vice Premier for Economic Affairs Vladimir Pesevski opened the show, saying the aspiration towards these practices that have an effect on the improvement of operations is not a sole responsibility of companies, but also of other stakeholders, as well as the academic community and the state.

"There is potential in Macedonia, there are companies ready to perform at the global markets", added Pesevski.

According to organizers, human capital is the most important long-term investments that enables every company to enhance its competitiveness.

The all-day multimedia show includes lectures, panel debates, video projections, live addresses by about 30 top experts from 15 countries.

The conference aims at achieving excellence in operations through presentation of international business models.
