Vice-Premiers Arifi, Pesevski meet Slovak and Austrian FMs
The Vice-Premier for European and Economic Affairs, Teuta Arifi and Vladimir Pesevski respectively, held talks Tuesday with Slovakian, Austrian Foreign Ministers Miroslav Lajcak and Michael Spindelegger.
Arifi briefed the high guests about ongoing reforms in Macedonia for bringing the country closer to the European Union, the Secretariat for European Affairs said in a press release.
She also referred to the Macedonia-EU high-level accession dialogue, which, as she said, presents a solid mechanism for the further progress of the country's EU-integration process.
Pesevski on his part referred to the Government's economic reforms, including the substantial improvement of Macedonia's business climate.
The meeting hailed Macedonia's success to preserve its macroeconomic stability in spite of the consequences of the economic crisis in Europe.
Pesevski also presented the favorable conditions for investing in Macedonia and proposed for the three countries to host three-party business forums to bolster their economic cooperation.
The Austrian and Slovakian FMs reaffirmed their countries' support of Macedonia's EU-integration.
