Draxlmaier Group to open 4.000 jobs, agreement due to be signed on Monday: PM Gruevski
German automotive corporation, Draxlmaier Group this Monday will sign an agreement with the Government to launch its investment in Macedonia in amount of 30 million euros. The company plans to open a plant for production of vehicle parts for Mercedes, thus creating 4.000 jobs, Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski announced on Saturday.
"The investment will open jobs for 4.000 people in the region of Kavadarci, including Negotino and Demir Kapija, because it will be built in the vicinity of the town of Kavadarci. According to the number of employees, it will be the biggest plant in Macedonia," Gruevski told reporters.
The investment, he noted, comes as a result of a long-term process. The most recent meeting with company's official was held at the road show in Germany. Contacts have been established that now result in an agreement due to be inked on Monday. It will pave the way for gradual creation of 4.000 jobs, according to the PM.
