"Clinical Tracks" is the new reform introduced by the Health Ministry, which is set to result in positive effects within the healthcare system, said Minister Nikola Todorov at Saturday's press conference.

"The project is a long-standing practice in all modern healthcare systems, having large effect in the reduction of clinical complications, doctor's errors, patient's stay in hospitals, easier and improved monitoring of costs for each procedure… etc.", said Todorov.

According to him, each patient will have a "Clinical Track" in his medical file upon admission, meaning that everyone involved would know what type of procedure is suitable at any time.
