Macedonia's investment potentials presented to Chinese companies
Deputy Premier in charge of economic affairs, Vladimir Pesevski during his working visit to Chengdu, Southwest China, held talks with high-ranking officials of several companies in the automotive industry.
Macedonia's delegation at the meetings presented the potentials and features of the country in relation to business climate, positive tax policy and its favourable conditions and opportunities offered to foreign investors, Pesevski's cabinet said in a press release.
In course of his working trip to China, Deputy PM Pesevski visited the companies "Geely International Corporation", "Dongfang Electric Corporation (DEC)" and "Maipu Communication Technology".
Founded in 2002, Geely International has established dealership with more than 50 overseas distributors, reaching the total overseas sales of over 100,000 vehicles in all. Located in Shanghai China, Geely International also has offices on its strategic markets in CIS, Middle East, Africa, Southeast Asia and Central and South America. In 2009, overseas assembling plants were established in Ukraine, Russia and Indonesia to produce vehicles.
