“The Government has decided to strengthen the already established system for agriculture market information and distribution, which is to be provided to farmers, processors and traders, thus enabling their increased profitability and productivity,” said Spokesman Aleksandar Gjorgjiev at Sunday's press conference.

Moreover, additional funds will be allocated for education and support of these target groups towards better distribution at domestic and foreign markets.

The agriculture market information system give farmers, processors and traders news on what, how and where something is sold or is to be sold, thus helping them decide what, how and when to produce something in the agriculture field or the processing industry, where to sell it and secure profit for all market stakeholders.

"The pillar is a strong market info-system and financial support in achievement of close cooperation among farmers, processors and traders", added Gjorgjiev.
