Eleven firms obtained Thursday licenses from the Ministry of Transport and Communications for valuers of real estate and transport means.

The authorized valuers in these companies will carry out an valuation in case of ownership transfer, asset value during structural or statutory change, bankruptcy proceedings, property taxation, investment consulting and other cases stipulated in the Law on Valuation.

"The presentation of the licenses marks the start of implementing standards in this field. This process is in the interest of the citizens and the business community, but also all those directly concerned by the need to obtain certain service by authorized valuers for real estate and transport means", said Minister Mile Janakieski.

According to him, issued licenses are filed in the ministry's valuation registry, the collective registry of the Valuers' Chamber, as well as the Central Register.
