Greek Ambassador pays farewell visit to FM Poposki
Greece's Ambassador to Macedonia Alexandra Papadopoulou paid a farewell visit Tuesday to Foreign Minister Nikola Poposki.
Expressing gratitude to Papadopoulou on her engagement during the six-year mandate, Poposki said Macedonia was ready for advancing the bilateral relations, cooperation in favor of the region's stability, prosperity and EU integration, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a press release.
The strategic goal of Macedonia, and the entire region, is swift integration with the Euro-Atlantic and European organizations, which requires open Greece's support, Poposki told Papadopoulou.
Macedonia is fully committed to sharing the idea of joint future within the EU, Poposki said, expressing belief that Greece would validate Macedonia's efforts to that effect, the press release reads.
