Twenty books by Literature Nobel Prize laureates translated in Macedonian language were promoted on Sunday.

"Our goal is to enrich Macedonian literature with the most famous works of world literature", said Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski, who attended the promotion alongside Culture Minister Elizabeta Kanceska-Milevska.

The Government’s project "Stars of World Literature" includes the translation of 560 works by famous authors, scheduled for completion in 2014.

"These works will be engraved in our culture, representing a model for future development processes of Macedonian literature", said Minister Kanceska-Milevska.
