Spokesman Aleksandar Gjorgjiev reiterated the Government's position with regards to media speculation referring to alleged proposal 'Northern Republic of Macedonia' by UN Envoy Matthew Nimetz for settlement of the name issue.

"It is irresponsible to speculate on any aspects of this issue, which is of highest national interest. With regards to media reports, I can say they are not true", stressed Gjorgjiev.
