Government adopts new measures for cheaper apartments
Two new measures aimed at settling the housing issue of nearly 1,200 families were adopted at yesterday's government session.
The first measure refers to families having no valid document regarding the ownership of the flat they live in. In accordance with the government decision, they will be able to purchase the apartment at prices lowered by 15 to 30% compared with the market value. If they are in no position to purchase the apartment, a loan will be offered.
The second measure covers citizens who have lost their apartments as a result of the denationalisation process, government spokesman Aleksandar Gjorgiev told.
