FM Poposki, US Ambassador Wohlers give lectures at MoFA Diplomatic Academy
Foreign Minister Nikola Poposki and US Ambassador to Macedonia Paul Wohlers delivered lectures Wednesday at the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Poposki referred to the good relations between the two countries, saying that the US and Macedonia share same multicultural, multi-religious values. He in particular highlighted the US continuous support of Macedonia and the entire region, MoFA said in a press release. Poposki also reaffirmed Macedonia's foreign policy priorities - the EU, NATO membership - which 'enjoy the support of vast majority of the citizens of Macedonia.'
Ambassador Wohlers extended gratitude to the Diplomatic Academy for organizing the event, saying that training, leadership instruction is a must for US diplomats to advance their career. Wohlers presented several principles of leadership he had become familiar with during his military, diplomatic career. The leadership is actually an capability for resolving problems, but acquiring of such skill is a life-time mission and one that requires personal integrity, he said.
