Minister Kanceska-Milevska visits Museum of Flavors in Kavadarci
To open a museum in which authentic artifacts are displayed in historical, etnological, chronological and archaeological order deserves recognition, because it is a way to nourish the cultural and historical values of Kavadarci, Culture Minister Elizabeta Kanceska-Milevska said after visiting the new Museum of Flavors in the town in south-central Macedonia.
"The Ministry of Culture aims at opening a museum in every town which will showcase the most valuable cultural and artistic values, its historical development and cultural identity," Kanceska-Milevska stated.
She stressed that Kavadarci was a town of great historical, cultural and archaeological value.
The Museum of Flavors in Kavadarci as an EU-funded project is part of a cross border cooperation established between Kavadarci and the town of Edessa in Greece.
The museum, first of its kind in Macedonia, displays items for food production and processing.
