Chambers of commerce support Macedonia's business diplomacy
Macedonian chambers of commerce are content with the heightened activities of diplomats in relation to business promotion of the country, because it will allow the companies to have more organized performance on new markets.
This was concluded by the presidents of the chambers of commerce in Macedonia after their meeting on Tuesday with Foreign Minister Nikola Poposki.
Poposki said that the ministry's primary objectives in connection to business activities were to promote the country at fairs and business forums worldwide, seek new fast-growing markets such as Latin America, Africa and the Middle East and use the diplomatic offices in meeting the needs of domestic firms and connecting with relevant local partners.
Zlatko Kalenikov, president of the Alliance of Macedonian Chambers of Commerce, said the diplomats' role in the economic promotion of Macedonia was favorable for the firms, because "it provides credibility to the whole activity".
