Gruevski: SDSM underestimates citizens' intellect by proposed projects

SDSM party underestimates the intellect of the citizens by the proposed measures and projects, Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski said Saturday after opening the sports hall in “Ismail Kemali” primary school in Gostivar.

The largest part of SDSM projects are inefficient and without concrete numbers for budget and deadlines for execution and completion. I think that they can easily promise that minimal salary would be Euro 10.000, doubling the annual leave, and to say that even the Sun rises in the West instead in the East. We are left to remain focused on real projects and resolving the real problems, Gruevski told journalists.

In regard to the latest incidents in Skopje, Gruevski expressed regrets and asked Interior Minister Jankuloska the offenders to be found as soon as possible and to be sanctioned aimed at preventing similar events to happen in the future.

Gruevski said that opening new factories by foreign investors in Macedonia is already a trend.

This shows that foreign companies are satisfied with the conditions offered by the government and local self-governments. Johnson Control besides the existing plant in Skopje is opening new one in Stip, Johnson Matthey also opens new plant, Tehnohose announced opening of new facility four times larger than the existing one and the Russian pharmaceutical company Prodis also announced to open second plant worth Euro 15 million and to employ 150-200 people, he said.

Besides opening new plants also new plants by other investors that provide raw materials for existing capacities as it is the example in Kavadarci where besides large German investment, also Tunisian company expressed interest, he underlined.
