The Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technologies - FEIT in Skopje, has received new laboratory for optical communications worth € 250.000, as part of the government's project "Program to equip the public higher education institutions’ laboratories and public research institutions."
- The new laboratory, as part of telecommunications, has the ability to measure the optical cables capacity and the quality of transmission. This lab will be used by the faculty students and for preparation of master's, doctoral and other research papers, Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski said at the promotion of the laboratory.
According to him, the lab will be also used by companies that produce Internet networks and cable televisions and other companies working with signal transmission through fiber optic cables.
