Minister Naumoff presents Macedonia’s business benefits in Toronto
Minister for Foreign Investments Jerry Naumoff addressed the Forum on Investment and Business Opportunities in South Eastern Europe, which was hosted by the NATO Council of Canada.
He addressed sixty representatives of the business community in Toronto presenting Macedonia’s business climate, investment advantages and expand of their activities in our country. Companies’ managers were interested in access to qualified workforce, favourable business climate and advantages of the tax system, Naumoff’s cabinet said Friday in a press release.
Representatives of companies from the sectors of car industry, energy and mineral resources who attended the forum showed interest to visit Macedonia.
Naumoff met with Hugh Segal, Chair of the NATO Council of Canada and Julie Lindhout, President of the NATO Council of Canada and agreed initial arrangement for visit of business delegations from Canada and Macedonia.
During the visit to Toronto, Naumoff also held meetings with representatives of companies in construction, food and film industry that has already showed interest to invest in Macedonia.
He also presented Macedonia’s investment opportunities at the working lunch with famous businessmen organised by John Bitove, prominent Canadian Macedonian businessman.
