Foreign Minister Nikola Poposki received Tuesday in a farewell visit the United Kingdom Ambassador to Macedonia, Christopher Yvon.

FM Poposki thanked Ambassador Yvon for his contribution in the enhancement of Macedonia-UK relations during his mandate, voicing preparedness for continuation of this trend in the future.

Poposki and Yvon agreed that the bilateral political relations have registered an upward trend, whereas active political dialogue represents a good foundation for even more dynamic development of bilateral relations in the future and closer cooperation in all fields of mutual interest.

Increase in the volume of investments and strengthening of the general economic and trade cooperation will continue to be in the focus of Macedonia-UK partnership efforts.
