Four individuals have been arrested, while five others are on the run in three separate cases, in which the police seized over 140kg of narcotics.

The arrests and seizures are part of a larger operation dubbed "Net" against illegal drugs trafficking.

Minister of Interior Gordana Jankuloska said at Tuesday's press conference two operations resulted in the break of international narcotics smuggling rings, mainly from Albania.

The MoI has submitted criminal charges against the suspects for unauthorized production and distribution of narcotics, psychotropic substances and precursors.
