The situation is stable after yesterday's storm in Skopje but in line with the Government's decision relevant institutions are to be in alert for the next 48 hours considering the forecasts for fresh showers in the regions of Skopje, Povardarie, north-west and south-west Macedonia.

Furthermore, All state, local institutions should set up emergency teams to monitor the situation in their premises and report on possible challenges, Government spokesman Aleksandar Gjorgiev said.

The government has also decided for relevant authorities to immediately appraise the damage of yesterday’s storm on the ground, Gjorgiev said.
