Government issues announcement for nearly 379 top posts
The Government has issued an announcement regarding the engagement of close to 379 persons on top posts in state institutions and members in administrative and supervisory boards.
The announcement offers 159 top posts in state institutions, including five ambassadorial posts, eight military attaches, 15 state secretaries in ministries, over 20 directorial posts in central and state organs, as well as about twenty executive posts in scientific institutions. In addition to this, an announcement for more than 220 members of administrative and supervisory boards in state agencies, public enterprises, clinics, etc has been also issued.
The announcement will run until June 30, Government spokesman Aleksandar Gjorgiev told Saturday's press conference.
"This is the biggest announcement ever issued for the engagement of individuals on top posts. The Government is not legally obliged to issue such an announcement, however our objective is to stimulate a mobilization in a bid to result in a fresh quality set to be incorporated by those who will apply and who will have a chance to manage certain institutions," Gjorgiev stated.
He noted that all candidates had equal chances. "Our goal is to engage persons based on their knowledge and professional experience," the spokesman concluded.
