Montante Group to invest EUR 10 million in Bunardzik plant, open 100 jobs

Italian multinational company "Montante Group" will launch this fall the construction of a plant in technological-industrial development zone Skopje 1-Bunardzik, producing shock absorbers for industrial and railway vehicles.

"The initial investment will amount to about EUR 10 million, including the opening of 100 jobs", said Montante Group owner Antoanello Montante and Directorate for Technological-Industrial Development Zones CEO Viktor Mizo at Friday's press conference.

The Montante Group has already registered a company in Macedonia, whereas activities are ongoing over the securing of two sites for a plant in the zone.

"Subsequently, capacities will be tripled, even quadrupled", said Montante.

Turin-based Montante Group has 2,300 employees and annual turnover of EUR 800 million.

"It is no secret that we visited neighboring countries, but Macedonia offered the most favorable investment conditions and that is why we decided to open our plant here", added Montante.
