Stavreski: New investments boost Veles perspective
Hope comes back to Veles after many years. The town-synonym for poor privatization process and closure of factories now becomes one of new plants and jobs, said Vice Premier and Finance Minister Zoran Stavreski during Monday's visit to Veles.
According to him, citizens see the perspective through employment in many companies operating in the free economic zones, but also the investments of foreign companies in the area, such as Draxlmeier and Marquardt.
"All of this improves the perspective of Veles citizens, especially the youth", added Stavreski.
He said the Government's policies also contributed to this aspect, including the active measures of the Employment Agency and loans provided by the Macedonian Bank for Development Promotion.
"These measures have opened more than 1,000 jobs, which contributes to the economic development of Veles", underlined FinMin Stavreski.
