FM Poposki meets Montenegrin counterpart Luksic

Macedonia and Montenegro nourish friendly relations and share the same priorities, the Foreign Ministers of both countries, Nikola Poposki and Igor Luksic, concluded Tuesday in Podgorica.

They reaffirmed the need for creating joint approach to bolstering the bilateral economic cooperation and attracting foreign investments, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a press release.

Underlying the positive experiences within the bilateral and regional initiatives, Poposki and Luksic agreed that the partnership of the two countries 'is a proof of their commitment to implementing the European values in the region', but also an example for developing the relations with other partner countries in the region and Europe.

The meeting also tackled the cooperation in international framework, in particular the efforts of both countries to join the EU and NATO.

Poposki and Luksic expressed readiness for exchange of experiences on expert level in line with the bilateral agreement for cooperation in the EU-integration process. They notified the fruitful cooperation in other spheres as a guarantee for success of each future initiative and collaboration.
