Domestic companies promote their capacities before economic promoters
Domestic companies without any costs will get first-hand information on the opportunities to export goods on foreign markets through direct online video meetings with economic promoters.
Several companies, including “Makprogres”, “Kamel Solar”, “Leov”, “Tehnoguma” and “Kadino Industry Group”, are presenting their capacities and offers of products and services to 22 economic promoters at Tuesday’s first-ever meeting.
“The companies are set to present opportunities to export their products and our promoters will pose questions in order to use the information provided at the meeting to promote these companies and to sell their products beyond Macedonia if possible,” Deputy PM for economic affairs Vladimir Pesevski stated before the first video meeting.
The project is planned to be realized at least once in three months through Macedonia’s Agency for Foreign Investments and Export Promotion, according to him.
Mitko Aleksov, executive director at the Association of Chambers of Commerce, said the project on promoting the capacities of domestic companies to economic promoters was an excellent opportunity to make a direct contact and present their portfolio of export-oriented products and services. At the same time, according to him, it is crucial the promoters to be informed on certain investment activities of our companies.
Foreign promoters have helped in providing new markets for the companies in Macedonia, he said. “There are certain contacts as well as direct cooperation with several countries, including Canada, India, markets which are unknown for our companies in Indonesia and markets in Qatar, Bahrain and Dubai. More intensive cooperation with economic promoters is expected to be established especially with so called third-world markets, such as Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan…”, Aleksov stated.
The project on online video meetings between economic promoters and companies is realized by the office of the Deputy PM in charge of economic affairs in cooperation with the Agency for Foreign Investments and Export Promotion and the Ministry of Information Society and Administration.
