The United Kingdom fully supports the Republic of North Macedonia while the country with its implementation of reforms is in accordance with the NATO and EU values and it fully deserves its place in the Euro-Atlantic democratic unions. This was said on the meeting between the President of the Government of North Macedonia, Zoran Zaev and the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Boris Johnson, which took place in London during the NATO Leaders Meeting.
At the meeting both Prime Ministers underlined the determination for long-term reinforcement of the relations between the two countries as a confirmation of the mutual close friendship and support, now also in the frames of the Alliance.
PMs Zaev and Johnson mentioned the mutual commitment to deepening the economic and trade relations between the two countries, as well as to the support for development and deepening of the regional cooperation.
