The Minister of Inter-Community Relations, Agon Ferati, today welcomed the Ambassador of the European Union, Michalis Rokas, for an official meeting.
During the meeting, they discussed the advancement of the European integration process and the importance of good inter-community relations as one of the fundamental pillars for building a democratic and sustainable society.
Special attention was given to the active involvement of young people in decision-making processes and the creation of equal opportunities for all citizens as the foundation of an inclusive society.
Minister Ferati and Ambassador Rokas also discussed strengthening the institutional capacities of the Ministry of Inter-Community Relations, with the aim of increasing its effectiveness in designing and implementing policies that contribute to social cohesion.
The two interlocutors praised the European Union’s continued support for projects that contribute to balanced regional development and improve the quality of life of citizens.
Minister Ferati expressed his appreciation for the partnership with the European Union, emphasizing his commitment to further strengthening cooperation on initiatives that promote inter-community coexistence, institutional development, and the country's European perspective.
