Minister Agon Ferati welcomed the Ambassador of Switzerland to North Macedonia, Christoph Sommer, for a meeting, during which they discussed the ministry’s activities and projects of mutual interest. The meeting focused on economic development, as well as opportunities to further deepen cooperation between the two countries.
Particular attention was paid to the role of SwissCham in connecting Swiss companies with companies from North Macedonia, creating partnerships and opportunities for new investments, as well as organizing B2B contacts and business networking. It was emphasized that these initiatives, together with the potential of the diaspora, can contribute to strengthening economic cooperation and creating new opportunities for both countries. The meeting also addressed Swiss development programs, support for start-up companies, and opportunities for student training.
Minister Ferati thanked the Ambassador for Switzerland’s continued support in various areas, including the economy, agriculture, non-governmental organizations, and training.
