Minister Agon Ferati held a meeting with the OSCE Ambassador in Skopje, Kilian Wahl.
At the beginning of the meeting, Minister Ferati thanked Ambassador Wahl for the support that the OSCE will provide to the Ministry through five thematic experts and one lead expert, with the aim of supporting the development of the National Strategy for the Development of Interculturalism and Social Cohesion.
The meeting also addressed the importance of strengthening cooperation between communities and building social cohesion, with particular emphasis on young people and policies aimed at preventing violence among peers.
Minister Ferati presented the “25 & Beyond” concept, emphasizing the importance of involving local government and youth centers in order to ensure the inclusion of all communities in the process of creating long-term and development-oriented policies.
Other priorities highlighted during the meeting included education, the economy, civil society, and start-ups. Both sides agreed to strengthen the strategic partnership between the Ministry and the OSCE, as well as to provide concrete support in priority areas.
Both interlocutors emphasized the need for concrete action aimed at building trust among all communities.
