The Minister for Inter-Community Relations, Agon Ferati, today welcomed the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Sweden to the Republic of North Macedonia, Ola Sohlstrom, for a meeting.
The meeting focused on opportunities to deepen cooperation and strengthen ties between the two countries, with an emphasis on development programmes and advancing joint projects by drawing on Swedish experience and support.
Particular attention was paid to promoting agendas that connect citizens and institutions of the two countries, especially in areas related to youth and the business sector, as well as to strengthening dialogue and cooperation among the ethnic communities in the country.
The importance of Sweden’s support for the reform processes and North Macedonia’s Euro-Atlantic path was also highlighted during the meeting.
Minister Ferati and Ambassador Sohlstrom expressed their readiness to promote new initiatives that will contribute to development, the exchange of experiences, and the strengthening of cooperation between the two countries.
