Today, the Minister of Public Administration, Goran Minchev, addressed the third session of the Council for Coordination and Monitoring of the Open Government Partnership process for the period 2024-2026.
In his welcoming speech, the Minister emphasized the importance of the Open Government Partnership as a strategic initiative for modernizing public administration and ensuring a more efficient, transparent, and accountable government that serves the citizens.
"The Open Government initiative has global significance and is a key step in enhancing trust between citizens and institutions. By involving public institutions, the civil sector, and other stakeholders, we have created a platform for active participation and dialogue," said Minister Minchev.
He emphasized that the Ministry of Public Administration, as the leading institution in this initiative, will continue to provide all necessary resources and coordination for the successful implementation of the commitments from the National Action Plan for Open Government Partnership 2024-2026.
During his speech, Minister Minchev highlighted the importance of innovation and creativity in creating new ideas for future plans, stating that every contribution from the Council members is crucial for the development of policies that will be transparent, inclusive, and accountable.
